Date Calculator is an Android tool built around date arithmetic. Its central function is finding the exact gap between two dates and times, or moving a known date forward or backward by a specified duration. The supporting features extend this core work to working-day counts, time zone conversion and date details.

Calculating the duration between two dates

The app calculates the duration between two dates, including the time component. The result is broken down into years, months, weeks, days, hours, minutes and seconds, so the difference can be read in several units at once.

Adding or subtracting a duration from a date

Users can enter a starting date and a duration, then choose whether to add or subtract that duration. The app returns the resulting date. This makes it useful for working out deadlines, expiry dates or other dates that depend on a fixed period.

Working day calculation

The working day feature counts the working days that follow a chosen start day. Users can exclude specific days of the week from the count, which allows the calculation to match different working schedules.

Time and date conversion across time zones

The app converts times and dates between different time zones. The source describes this as helpful for travel and for scheduling international appointments.

Detailed date information

For a selected date, the app shows information such as the week of the year, quarter or month, and the day of the year or quarter. It also presents the hour, minute and second in different time units. The source states that the app supports both 12-hour and 24-hour time formats.

Design and version details

The source describes a simple, intuitive interface. This listing refers to version 1.8.5 and places the app in the Tools category.
