Isoski helps sports stores and ski rental companies check ski equipment using two practical tools: an ISO 11088-based calculation for alpine ski binding adjustment and a compatibility check for ski boots and bindings using the GripWalk standard. This combination can support staff who need to assess equipment and set bindings according to an established international standard. The app is designed for professional use in the winter sports industry, where consistent procedures matter when preparing equipment for customers.

Binding adjustment calculations

The app uses ISO 11088 to calculate the adjustment level of alpine ski bindings. Rather than treating the setting as an informal estimate, Isoski provides a calculation based on the specified standard. This gives professionals a structured reference when preparing alpine ski equipment and helps connect the adjustment task with the applicable ISO requirements.

GripWalk equipment checks

Isoski also checks whether ski shoes and bindings are compatible with the GripWalk standard. This is useful when staff are working with newer boot and binding combinations and need to assess compatibility before equipment is prepared for use. The check complements the binding calculation by addressing both the relationship between components and the adjustment process.

For winter sports businesses

The app is intended for professionals working in sports stores, ski rental companies, and other winter sports settings. Its focus on ISO-based calculations and GripWalk checks gives these users tools for handling common equipment setup tasks in a consistent way.

Keeping checks current

The supplied guidance recommends checking for app updates to stay informed about changes to ISO standards. It also suggests carrying out regular calibration checks with Isoski to verify the accuracy of adjustments, and sharing the tool with colleagues who perform standardized ski binding work.
