Madani Channel is an Android app developed by the I.T. Department of Dawat-e-Islami for watching Islamic television programming and listening to Islamic audio content. According to its description, the app is built around the live transmission of Madani Channel and adds internet radio and multilingual video streaming. The listing is categorized under Lifestyle and covers version 6.0.1.

Live channel streaming

The app's central function is the live transmission of Madani Channel. The description states that the channel is broadcast 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so viewers can open the app at any time to follow its programs. It also mentions a live update facility, which the listing presents as a way to keep users connected to current programming. The description further says that displays of un-Islamic activities, such as music or commercials, are prohibited on the channel.

Internet radio services

Alongside the television stream, the app offers five internet radio services. The listing names Quran recitation, Fard Uloom courses, Naats, and Madani Muzakara as examples of the audio content available. This gives users an audio option in addition to watching the channel, although the listing does not explain how the five services are organized within the app.

Video streaming in Urdu, Bangla, and English

The description says the current version includes video streaming in Urdu, Bangla, and English. This language option is intended to help viewers from different regions follow the content in a language they understand. The listing does not specify which programs are available in each language.

Using the app

One practical approach is to open the live channel for its programs and events, then switch to the radio services to listen to Quran recitation, Naats, or the other audio categories when watching is not convenient. The description encourages users to explore the live updates and radio options to find additional material.
