About this app
PlanMyDay helps people organize their day by scheduling tasks according to priority and duration. Its schedule updates as work progresses, while task and calendar imports can bring information from other services into the planning process.
Build a schedule around priorities and time
Tasks can be assigned a priority and an expected duration, giving the schedule information about both importance and the time each item may take. Changing the order of tasks lets you see which ones fit within particular time frames. This can help when deciding how to arrange the day's work, without treating every task as equally urgent.
Track work as the day changes
PlanMyDay lets you check in on a task and track the time elapsed while working on it. The app continuously updates the scheduling of following tasks as work continues, so the rest of the plan reflects progress on the current item. The description also presents the app as an option for people who struggle with distractions, including people with ADHD; it does not describe a separate ADHD-specific tool.
Bring in tasks and calendar events
The app supports importing tasks from Google Tasks and Toodledo, and importing events from calendars. Calendar events can be brought in so those time slots remain accounted for during planning. Together, these imports provide a way to consider existing tasks and appointments while arranging a daily schedule.
Language options
PlanMyDay includes an option to switch to a language of the user's choice. The source does not specify which languages are available. This setting complements the scheduling and import tools by letting users choose their preferred language for the app.
