Relevo is an app for using and returning reusable containers with takeaway meals and beverages. Users can scan borrowed dishware with a smartphone, helping record the container in the app and support the reduction of unnecessary packaging waste.

Borrowing and returning containers

After requesting a takeaway order in reusable dishware, users scan the items to confirm the borrowing process. Once the dishes have been cleaned, they can be returned within 14 days by scanning the QR code displayed on a return poster.

The app includes a reminder function and an option to extend the return period for a small fee when more time is needed. This gives users a way to manage the return deadline within the borrowing process.

Finding participating locations

An interactive map shows participating restaurants and cafes where reusable items can be borrowed. This can help users identify locations that support the Relevo container system.

Tracking activity and environmental impact

Relevo provides an overview of borrowed and returned dishes, along with borrowing history. Users can also view the collective impact of the Relevo community, connecting their container use with the app’s focus on reducing disposable packaging waste.
