El Chancho Loko Lite is an augmented reality game in which the player aims and shoots at a virtual pig displayed in their surroundings, using a bottle label as the target. The app is listed under the Sports category and is developed by ROBERTO TREVELIN. Its documented objective is to hit the target, either by yourself for a quick game or against friends or family.

Setting up a game

According to the description, a game starts by selecting an opponent and then pointing the device's camera at the bottle label. Once the label is in view, the augmented reality system places the pig in the surroundings, and the player aims and shoots at the label. The description presents this as a short setup, so the player can move from choosing a game to shooting with few steps.

Solo and multiplayer play

The app supports a solo game and a multiplayer mode. In multiplayer, players challenge friends or family and compete to hit the targets first, with the first player to do so claiming victory. The source does not describe how multiplayer matches are joined or how scores are kept beyond this winning condition, so those details are not covered here.

Augmented reality and visuals

The augmented reality technology brings the pig into the player's own environment, so the shooting happens within the real space in front of the camera. The description also highlights realistic graphics intended to make the pig and bottle label look lifelike. For the augmented reality tracking to work well, the source recommends playing in a well-lit area.

Aiming and power-ups

The tips in the description emphasize practice before multiplayer matches, since more accurate shots improve the chances of winning. The source also mentions power-ups that can either improve the player's shooting or hinder an opponent. It advises using them strategically, but it does not list which power-ups exist or describe their exact effects, so those specifics should be checked in the app itself.
