About this app

Fruit Link is a puzzle game about clearing pairs of identical fruit tiles. To make a match, players select one tile and then another of the same fruit; the connection must follow a path of no more than three straight segments. Removing a pair changes which paths are available, so the order of matches matters as much as spotting identical tiles.

Finding a path through the board

Each move starts with a tap to select a fruit, followed by a tap on its matching tile. A successful connection removes the pair and can create an opening between fruits that could not previously be linked. Boards differ in size and arrangement, making it useful to look beyond the next available match. Clearing one pair may expose a route for another, while leaving certain tiles until later can make the board harder to finish.

The touch interface uses visual feedback to show the result of a connection attempt. Hints and prop indicators appear alongside the board. These elements support the central task without changing its basic rule: a matching pair needs a valid route formed from at most three straight lines.

Three ways to play against the clock

Classic mode asks players to clear the board within a time limit. Time mode begins with less time but adds time as fruits are cleared, tying continued play to successful matches. Night mode focuses on speed. All three modes use the same tile-linking idea, but their timing rules change how urgently players need to find and clear pairs.

Stages, props, and presentation

Fruit Link has hundreds of stages with changing layouts and time limits. Early stages introduce the connection rule, while later arrangements call for more careful sequencing so that remaining tiles do not become difficult to reach. Occasional special stages add another challenge within that progression. Props and boosters earned through play can help with difficult arrangements, though the main objective remains clearing the fruit pairs.

Bright fruit icons and visible connection lines help distinguish tiles and show how a match works. Transitions and small effects mark successful clears, while audio cues accompany links. Sound settings can be adjusted, and the interface uses icons and brief prompts rather than extensive text. The supplied description also states that Fruit Link can be played offline.
