About this app

Gacha Universal is a casual game built around creating anime-style characters and placing them in scenes. Players begin with preset characters, change their appearance, and then use poses, backgrounds, and objects to stage pictures.

Build a cast of characters

Character editing covers hairstyles, facial details, clothing, shoes, and accessories. Rather than working with only one avatar, players can use 10 main characters and unlock additional character slots. The description refers to a roster approaching 100 customizable characters, giving players room to create different looks for the same scene or assemble a larger cast.

The editing menus provide the starting point for the rest of the game: a character’s outfit and expression can be chosen before that character is placed beside others, posed, or photographed. Presets can also be saved so a design can be kept for later use.

Arrange rooms and studio scenes

Players can create spaces for their characters, including rooms furnished with items from a selection of themed designs. Furniture can be positioned and interior colors changed, allowing the setting to be adjusted alongside the characters who appear in it. Pets, props, and other decorative objects provide further options when putting together a scene.

Studio mode brings multiple characters, items, and backgrounds into one composition. A collection of hundreds of poses lets players set up different gestures and interactions, whether they want a group picture or a scene that suggests a story. After arranging the setting and cast, players can take photos of the result.

Share designs and explore other activities

Gacha Universal supports exporting custom characters as a code or file and importing characters shared by friends. That exchange concerns the character designs themselves, while photos offer another way to show a finished scene.

The game description also mentions mini-games and challenges alongside its customization tools. It describes matches involving equipped characters and leaderboard placement, but does not explain the match rules or how progression through those activities works. Scene creation and character editing are the more clearly documented parts of play.
