Tales of the Eclipse: Goblin Encounter is an adult-oriented fantasy visual novel about a mercenary trying to find refuge after a failed mission. As Alexi, a wandering adventurer, you face a story involving pursuers, an anonymous employer, and choices that can affect what happens next.

Alexi’s predicament and the fantasy setting

The premise places Alexi in danger as he seeks shelter and escapes those pursuing him. The story is set in a fantasy world and brings together adventure, encounters with different races, romance, and suspense. The source also describes quests alongside Alexi, but does not specify their structure or a fixed order in which they occur.

Choices and relationships

Decisions influence the story’s development, its outcomes, and Alexi’s relationships. The game describes balancing relationships with monster girls, who have their own preferences and quirks. One specifically noted relationship is the bond Alexi forms with a goblin girl during downtime. These details make relationships part of the branching narrative, though the source does not identify particular choices or explain the exact consequences of each one.

Encounters and presentation

Alongside its story and relationship choices, the description mentions encounters and battles, as well as different combat styles and abilities. It does not set out a detailed battle sequence or explain how combat connects to individual quests, so those elements are best understood as additional parts of the adventure rather than a fully documented play cycle.

The visual presentation includes 3DCG animated scenes and graphics depicting the fantasy setting and its characters. The game is presented as a visual novel, with story decisions and character interactions at its center. Its description identifies romance and suspense as parts of the narrative, while the goblin girl’s companionship adds a relationship thread to Alexi’s journey.
