Flixtor V1 is an Android app for finding movies and TV shows when you want to browse by genre or narrow a selection using other listed criteria. It offers options to stream media or download it, and its description names examples such as Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, and The Simpsons.

Finding a title to watch

When you are deciding what to watch, the app lets you filter movies or shows by genre and sort them by date, popularity, or download count. These controls provide different ways to explore the collection, while the listed series illustrate the kinds of titles mentioned in the app description. The description also says users can select the media file they want to watch.

Choosing streaming or downloading

Flixtor V1 supports direct streaming as well as downloading a torrent file. These are presented as alternative ways to access selected media; the description does not say that choosing one automatically triggers the other. It also says titles can be stored on the device or a storage card for access without an internet connection. Multiple simultaneous downloads are supported, so more than one movie or episode can be downloaded at a time. The source describes streaming as fast, but does not provide a measured speed.

Using the app on Android devices

The supplied compatibility information states Android 2 or later and identifies both smartphones and tablets. It describes the app as available on those device types, without giving further device requirements. For offline access, the stated storage options are the device itself or a storage card.
