VPN UNBLOCK Websites - Free Proxy Server is an Android Tools app from developer Geo VPN Switch, listed at version 12. Its stated purpose is to help people open websites and content that are blocked or restricted where they are, by routing the device's internet connection through proxy servers that can be selected by location.

Reaching restricted websites

The core function in the listing is website unblocking. The app is described as a one-click way to connect, after which users can open sites or content that are restricted on their network. The description mentions streaming platforms, social media sites and news outlets as examples of the services people might try to reach. The listing does not explain in detail how connection status is displayed or how servers are chosen beyond location, so those details are not covered here.

Choosing locations and IP addresses

The description says a VPN servers manager lets users change locations, and that changing location changes the IP address in use. The developer presents this as a way to access content that is not available in a user's country. The listing does not name specific regions, servers or services, so anyone who wants a particular location or service should confirm availability directly.

Video downloading

Alongside unblocking, the app includes a video downloader, which the listing calls X-Video Downloader. According to the description, a user clicks a download button on a video they want to save, and the saved video can then be viewed offline. The listing also says downloads can be resumed and that the location can be changed during them. The description does not specify which video sources are supported, so that should be checked before relying on the feature.

Connection on Wi-Fi and mobile data

The description states that the app works on Wi-Fi, LTE/4G, 3G and other mobile data connections, and that it remains active in the background. It presents the encrypted connection as useful on public Wi-Fi networks, where it is described as protecting personal information. These are developer statements and have not been independently tested for this article.

Claims to check on the store page

Several statements in the listing are promotional and cannot be verified from the description alone. These include claims of anonymity, unlimited access, high speed, permanent free use with no in-app purchases, no usage or time limits, no registration, and no additional permissions. Readers who need to know about pricing, permissions, data handling or device requirements should check the current store listing, because the supplied source does not clearly state a usable minimum Android version.
